What can we help you with?
Corrections. Found a step that no longer matches what is on your screen? This is the message we most want to receive. Send the guide URL, the step that is wrong, and your macOS version — Apple moves settings between releases, so the version is the single most useful detail you can give us.
Suggest a guide. Tell us what you searched for and could not find, or what you found and did not trust. A surprising number of the guides here exist because somebody said the answers already online were wrong.
Report a problem with the site. A broken link, an image that will not load, a page that renders badly on your device — let us know what you were using and what happened.
Copyright and DMCA notices. Our content is written in-house, but if you believe material here infringes your copyright, email us with the details set out on our DMCA and Copyright page and put "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. You are also welcome to raise a concern informally first — we would rather fix something than argue about it.
Privacy requests. Access, correction, deletion, and opt-out requests are covered in our Privacy Policy. We reply within 30 days.
Advertising and partnerships. Advertising on this site is served through Google AdSense, and we do not sell editorial coverage. Please do not send guest posts, sponsored articles, or link-insertion offers — they are declined without exception.
Before you email
A quick check of these may get you an answer faster:
- A step does not match your screen? Check your macOS version under Apple menu → About This Mac. Most mismatches are a version difference, and the guide usually notes where behaviour changed.
- Mac misbehaving generally? Start with safe mode and Apple Diagnostics. Between them they separate a software problem from a hardware one in about ten minutes.
- Worried about malware? Our guide to checking for malware covers the five places to look — and explains why a pop-up claiming to have scanned your Mac is itself the problem.
- Legal or privacy questions? Our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy answer most questions about how the site works and how data is handled.
When to expect a reply
We read everything that arrives at hello@ternik.online. Corrections are handled first, usually within a few days. General questions and suggestions may take longer, and we cannot promise individual technical support for one specific Mac — the guides are written to be self-contained for exactly that reason. Formal privacy requests are answered within 30 days, and copyright notices are acted on promptly.
